Thanks to teddy bear artists from all over the world, nearly 100 handcrafted teddy bears will be up for adoption at the 2011 Teddy Bear Banquet and Auction in Albany, N.Y. This annual event has been an ongoing success for nearly 25 years, with all proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region.

The event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road, and will feature both a live and silent auction, followed by dinner and various raffle drawings. The event will feature both artist-made teddy bears and creations from various manufacturers. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. promotes the health, development and well-being of children and their families.
