Nagel Auction to include rare Steiff Teddies, animals PDF Print E-mail

Nagel Auktionen in Stuttgart, Germany is holding an antique and vintage toys auction July 5. The first part of the auction features rare Steiff teddy bears, animals, and movable show pieces; the second part contains dolls, tin toys, and a carousel collection.

 

Highlights among the pre-war Steiff plush animals include a large Teddy with black boot button eyes from 1908, with an estimated value of 12,000 euros (approximately $17,000), and an early Dachshund from 1906 valued at 1,200 euros (approximately $1,700).
